How can you not get excited about this series? sure, the tiges and twinks are likely warmup fodder for the yanks, but don't let that overshadow this great late season series! It's like watching last years vikes. You knew they didn't have the guns to win a superbowl. not with TJ going to his 1st ever playoff game. But the season was still a blast to watch! Mauer said earlier in the year, he would nly stay if the twins made the moves to win. They didn't exactly go out and sign guerillas for jungle warfare, but they did go and get pitching help (pavano, rauch)and a bat ( cabrerra)...So? Who knows whats in joes mind. I wouldn't blame him if he took the cash over loyalty. After all, where is there loyalty anywhere these days outside of maybe your family.
