So this is what Valhalla's like,

Don't see no beer a swillin'
Or dogs lyin' round the floor.
See some old friends 'n football fans,
Not driven by degree.
Not frothing in their trenchers,
Just raising coin for charity.
I can see you're not real panicked,
By the season drawing nigh,
But it's not for chit and chatting,
That I've happened to drop by.
I don't believe in smacking,
Or cursing like a clown,
But I do believe a lad
Should lay his cards all down.
So here are my predictions,
If I'm wrong I'll take my whacks,
Oh, my favorite hero's Loki,
So best watch what's in my sack.
I think we Lions will win,
When you show up on week two.
We may not win at Minnesota,
But that will not make me blue.
The Pack is gonna take you,
Two games outta two.
Those Cheeseheads are Beserkers,
Not calm like me and you.
And the final game this season,
'Tween you and the Bears,
Will decide the Northern championship,
Don't let 'em take you unawares.
Well my cards are on the table,
You can weep or you can laugh.
But I'll be back to say "Nailed it."
Or come back to take your Chaff.
But I wish the best for you this season,
May you be happy and be well.

For us Lions time will tell.
