if there is a turnover with a gimme field goal to win the game the fans would go nuts. Can you imagine the second guessing if Favre gets picked and the game is over. They won the game and played the odds that they couldn't move the ball far enough with no timeouts. In the end it was the right call. I imagine 90% of the coaches in the NFL would have done exactly the same thing.
If I would have been calling the plays I would also have gone for the td. That's why I'm typing on this site rather than coaching.
No matter how you slice it and dice it we are 6-0.
