keying on the secondary play. It's not very pretty. Even at the end of the game the corners were giving up 5 to 7 yards where every yard was crucial. This is the time to see how the backups play, the time to find a gem in the bunch, someone that needs a chance to shine. It is harder for secondary play butmoxie is moxie. We saw some good play from these guys in the pre so lets let em loose. We do need Winfield with hiscoverage skills and sure tackling. And a veteran guy would be the ticket. I give up a draft pick but how high? Like with the Allen trade I thought it was good then and certainly do now. A veteran pressence combined with a high level of play is needed. Watching Johnson he was waiting for the quarterback to make the throw before rolling to that side. You can't wait for the ball to be out.
We've seen the defense look much better although maybe not for a whole game so we know it's there. IMO the offense has to stay on the field. keep the defense fresh and rested. Don't be like the good people of Minnesota and take it easy on them keep throwing and running off the throw.
Like they said on Primetime, this team hasn't plkayed it's best footbll and hasn't for an entire game. so we keep playing hard working through the ups and downs and working towards a high playoff seed. peak at the right time. What we have now is Favre magic something we haven't had in a while. His love of the game keeping it fun playing hard taking the hits and making it enjoyable for his teamates has got us soem football magic as in getting the bounces. The last second pass the missed field goal are breaks we want and now get and hope to continue getting. These wins pay off in the end. But this is now Brett's team and noodle has to work around this fact and not fight it. Brett is close with Darrell we have to remember not noodle. And I for one not only wouldn't care if he called his own but think it should be so. Or at least free to audible. Noodle has to call the offense and be head coach while Bevell is doing what? Talking with Brett is the quarterbacks coach's job. Darrell should be upstairs watching the defense or Brad could let Darrell and Brett run this thing called the KAO while he acts like a head coach and not a top secret agent. Cover your lips for fu##ing sakes they might have a lip reader. I don't care if your just telling me where the red hanky is, this is bigger than the both of us. oh noodle you're so funny. NOT.
Next year the Twins will be good put your money on it VIC. And some for me too.
