watching momentum in our games this year is a trip. so noticeable and palpable. and then it swings back. we can sack and tackle and then we can't sack or tackle or get the correct angles. one little thing like robison's fumble and mo wore green for awhile. That non fumble call at the beginnin g of the game was complete b.s. that ref didn't blow until he saw the ball come out. let the play go then make the call. so we figure they are going to call the game that way, not! How many times did AD have 3 or 4 guys on him going backward with no chance of advancing but does the whistle blow, heck no. how many times did forwrd progress wait until the ball carrier was down before stopping the play. we got jobbed of early mo on that call and it was clear to everyone. ball comes out blow the play dead and it's not reviewable, perfect. after that I wanted to beat GB more so. friggin refs.
watching all the other coaches out there one could make a case for ol noodle. he does have talent and is very conservative but he did have a plan and it is working but does it without brett? there are some bad organizations this year. we could have a much worse coach. And even a coach like cowher had many down years and only won it once and the refs played a big part in that.
great start to the year and a good time for the bye. this isn't like the 98 year where we won games handily. this year we are in some battles got a loss and beat gb twice. And we are improving each week. NO is tough but they have had the turnovers to buoy there cause. we have lost the TO battle's and still won the game. hopefully home field is in doors.
Hey Vic did Beaver Viking ever report on his trip to the game in Pittsburgh? I looked for it but didn't find. He said to look for him and that he may be outnumbered but I haven't heard more. thanks.
