when they had Fouts, Muncie, JJ Jefferson, Chandler, Joiner, Air Coryell and my all time favorite, Kellen Winslow. That was as good an offensive team as you could find.
If they won it was by scores like 45-42. Absolutely no defense.
I still enjoy watching the Chargers and would love to see Phillip Rivers in purple. But I do have to admit I loved seeing AP trample them a couple of years back for 297 yards. That was awesome. So I still bleed purple and enjoy watching them each week, win or lose.
