CT, the China Study is a book by T. Colin Campbell that goes against the conventional notion that animal proteins are essential for good health...in fact according to the study, its the opposite - at first i was skeptical and kept reading so i could disprove and dismiss the theory as another fad but the more i read the more it really made sense...replacing medicine and pills with proper nutrition. Dr. John McDougall has also written a number of books on nutrition that advocate the whole foods plant based diet - im not going full tilt with it, but theres alot of powerful information that is certainly worth following up on and trying at home. Theres also a documentary film called Knives Over Forks thats based on the same theory. good stuff and as with anything it may not be for everyone since alot of different factors go into deciding what to eat (like hamburgers tasting so freaking good) but its hard to argue the logic and science on this one.
