Your argument for no new taxes is both good and bad. A new 9% tax is suppose to replace the federal payroll taxes, so depending on you spending habits you could actually spend less. You can make the argument that folks the bottom 49% who don’t pay tax will now be required to pay by purchasing goods and be levied a 9% tax. You have to also look at how much more is spent by folks with a lot of money, probably much more than they claim now because of all the shelters they have. Many if not all would go away under Cain’s plan. You can bet the lobbyist’s will fight tooth and nail for their share. Look at the 1500 and counting waivers to Obama care.
The current tax code suck. Slanted toward everything other and the average Joe. Something new has unknowns, but “hope and change” is what we were promised and not “It’s Bush’s Fault”
