there was an article at 1500 2day that one of the bears safties was released. The vikes want to stand by their youngsters.
going forward, Asher allen is only going to get better the more he plays. same for cedric, burton, sherels. Sanford and abdullah as well. Raymond. this team is on the rebuild, therefore the only players I would want to add is a real stud bad ass bump corner that can teach some technique... not too many of those available.
If I were the. vikes, I'd inquire about asante samuel in the offseason. for this year? I'd be scourring other teams PC's looking for a diamond in the rough defender.
likely, chris cook is done. Tyrell johnson never was and winfield and griffen are a tandem of the past....dam. A secondary that looked heavy on budding talent all of a sudden is thin again.
Ps- everyone dogs on asher allen. he plays good in man. sucks in zone. AA likely will never be a star, but he may be another cedric given time.
patience for 2011...hopefully burton, raymond and sherels show us something in the 2nd half.
