why can't they rip the roof off the dome, lose the 3rd level and build luxury suites. They made soldier field work, they made lambeau work. cmon man. somebody in minnesota get the preverb Head outta the ass and git-r-dun!
funny thing is tho, I saw it announced today thew LA dodgers are going on the bankruptcy auction block. THE DODGERS!! going on auction cuz there is no buyer. team sold to mcourt in 2004 for 410 million. includes parking lots and dodger stadium. It'll be interesting to see what they auction off at.
now i know MLB is not NFL. BUT... it is LA market and a storied franchise...I think PH is gonna be correct. LA is/was a sham. theres no deep pockets willing to spend 1 billion for a stadium and another 900 million for a team. not when attendance has trended downward every year since 2006. Not when you have rodger godill turning the game into flag football.
I hope minnesotans continue to stand up with the "not with my tax dollars".hell, just having the land given to them out in arden hills oughtta be enough incentive!Youd think the wilfs could find a couple of private partners willing to invest in the stadium considering the overall development and economic boom this could create...lol... but they being greedy! the wilfs want to make millions and have minnesotans subsidise their profits!
