I agree with you that Gerhardt is a quality back...

I just didn't like where the Vikes drafted him. If they had stayed put and not traded up in the second round and taken Toby with their original 2nd rounder, I would have disliked the pick still. The second round is way too high to take a back when you already have Adrian Peterson. The only exception I'd make is if you think the guy is the next Marshall Faulk/Thurman Thomas/Roger Craig great dual threat back.
