How much of a difference will having a full offseason make for this squad?

Tom Pelissero:
This will have to be the last question, and it's a good one. I think it'll make a big difference, especially on offense. Percy told me in December that the entire season, the Vikings basically had been trying out plays like in games like you normally would in a minicamp. They were trying to install incrementally during the season. They went through two quarterbacks. They patched things together on the OL without a true left tackle because of McKinnie. They need the extra time with Bill Musgrave, absolutely. It'll make a difference on defense, too. More time for Frazier to clearly state what he wants. Last year, Frazier tried to divide his time in training camp between both units and that ended up creating some right hand-left hand stuff with Pagac. Now he's got a guy who's on the same page as him. All of this will help the Vikings. But it'll help other teams, too.
