Yeah, Simpson was a one-year deal and is suspended for the first 3 games. Another low-risk, high-reward signing. Who knows, maybe he gets even better (had a decent year last year) and is signed to an extension.
I keep hearing how this draft is deep at WR, and I have to think the Vikes will draft at least 2 of them, especially with 3 4th-round picks. Later round guys I hear good things about are Brian Quick (may go as high as round 2?), Nick Toon, the Streeter guy from Miami and Marvin McNutt from Iowa. I'm sure there are plenty of others whose names are escaping me right now.
