I agree with Bonkers on this one, the kid from ND would have been gone bfor our 2nd round pick. Draft very, very weak on safeties this year. I think its worth the move up.
That being said, I don't think spielman is done moving up either. Pats have several 2nd round picks and they like "more picks" too...I think we have our eyes on McNutt the WR out of Iowa, and if Speilman senses late in the 2nd that he can move up to get him, I think he will if he can find a partner.
Unlike other opinions, I like moving up, regardless of the fact we have lots of holes. Most post 4th and 5th round picks will not pan out...you can always find non drafted players or players that are jettisoned that probably could do just as well.
