For ease of math, let's use US Senate for example.
100 senators. With VP breaking any ties. But VP only votes if there is a exact tie.
Assuming all 100 senators voted.
A simple majority is just one more. Like 51-49. Or 50-50 and VP votes making it 51-50.
It could also be 53-47.
A super majority = 2/3 vote.
So 67-33 is the smallest win to gain super majority. But it could be 80-20 or 90-10 it 100-0.
Just remember. Majority... Simple majority is just a majority. Super majority means 2 thirds or more than 2 thirds.
