Lol, except. It's hard to say the Lions weren't the hottest team from the NFC north in January.
And the 6 kings were a whole lotta " everything that could go right, went right". From the schedule to sketchy in game zebra farts. Nearly everything broke right for a 17 game run of epic 21st century success. Even the Minneapolis Miracle of Diggs infamy was topped by the Buffalo Ball Buster.
It was a year!
Flores is the biggest overnight upgrade since that #4 fever fella came to Minnesota with a peckerwood vendetta in his heart. I actually hear some fans whining about Flores. Ufdah... There's Minnesota nice. But there's also Minnesota stupido. There's not many better than Flores & the "Tweeners surprise" D he is importing to the Bank.
But, is it enough? To overcome the Schedule and the Cap Campbell rabid lion?
The Vikings get the 1st place schedule. Teams like Philly, SF, & Cincy. The lions get the 2nd schedule. DallASS, Seattle & B-more.
Of course, Detroit has a gambling distraction to contend with while O'Connell has only greedy rats jumping ship with a team that has historically not achieved when painted the favorite.
How will it shake out come January?
My hunch is the 6 kings are like the baby tomato falling behind on a long walk... You know what Pappa tomato said....
Catch up.
Odds makers too, they are dubious on the perps...seeing them a king or 2 shy of VI.
They have the lions as slight favorites to be sitting atop the north after the 2 squads play in Detroit week 18.
Baby Tomato(lions) done caught up. Does that make the Vikes 2023 run Must-turd?
I guarantee 1 thing. Viking fans will know The legend of Jack Campbell in the aftermath.
