Grass/ synthetic & hybrid.
It's happened to older players as well as younger players. It does seem more common amongst offensive players.
So what's changed in the past few years? Cleats have. I don't know if anything else has beyond nutritional focus. I wonder if something has been added or removed to standard workout/ stretching plans. If not?
I would think the NFL needs to look at shoes.
There must be an underlying cause. Maybe it's as simple as a "league approved" "nutritional supplement"? in wide use to circumvent ped rules?(hgh or some other undetectable ped).
I'm guessing on this stuff.
Whatever the reason. All these rules & game changing penalties do not seem to be creating a reduction of injuries. It seems the opposite is happening. Injuries seem to have increased the past 5-6 years.
Oh well. I certainly have zero answers. The same amount as the league. I just thought I'd toss it out there. See if anyone has another idea?
Is it the reduction of in season padded practices? Or is it? Something's just defy reason.( I don't believe that, but I've heard it said).
