Kareem Jackson suspended & fined. Refs go on w/o punishment. PATHETIC!
So, if Jackson hits? Hurts, Mahomes? Tom Brady? Tua? Josh Allen or even his teammate Russ Wilson. In the same manner. Do the officials swallow the flag? Nope- flags fly from 7 directions. You know it's true!
It's time for the NFL to adopt the college rule.
Targeting is called if there's any remote chance. Then it's reviewed. The flag is just as often picked up. If it stands. The offending player misses at minimum, the rest of current game & 1st half of next game.
Meanwhile. Sean Peyton praises Dobbs poise.
Why? To distract from anybody sensing his involvement. On the broncos current 4 game win streak. Their entire defense is launching helmets at the ball, and often missing to the head neck area.
If you're going to make this the way the NFL game is played. Then ref bias to protect the "superstars" & ignore the scrubs has to be held to account.
It was a dirty play. Clearly Jackson launches at the ball the instant he sees Dobbs is stood up by the LBer, who btw. Pulled the ball free legally.
Targeting & PI both need to be reviewable. There's no consistency in how these penalties are called/ not called.
To be fair. The fumble occured before the helmet hit. It should remain a turnover. But. A 15 yard penalty & Jackson ejected.
You have to penalize the team that is trying to hurt people. Inside the game where they are playing dirty. Inorder to get the Sean Peyton's of the league playing to the leagues standard.
The Niners are one of the worst offenders.
But nothing is going to change amongst the "fk these pvssifued rules" crowd/coaches- until suddenly. They are losing games bc 3 or 4 starters are removed for dirty play.
Give the rules teeth or get rid of em.
