As a 1980's qb prospect- Joe appears to be one of the worst candidates in this draft, at best- he teases like Justin Field, but with less downfield accuracy and the player most likely to injury a Viking receiver by leading him into head on collisions or breaking fingers via Milton fastball to a receiver thats 5 yards away.
Yet, the dude runs 4.5 at 6-5, 250 lbs. His legs are as long as some of you short bassturds are tall. His vertical is 38". He yas heavy feet as a passer, but as a ball carrier he is smooth & quick footed for a guy built like herman munster.(Ok, I exagerate a bit there for chuckly value).
6-5 246 tight end?
Rush lber?
PUNTER🤔
Actually- his body reminds me of a former raider hof-er. Those long thick muscular legs.
He reminds me of ray guy.
Think on that. The weapon Joe Milton could become if he learned to get hang time 45 yd punts off consistently. At 4.5 he can gain the edge easily. He can throw the ball 70 yards with a wrist flick.
All the wall getting trained to be a more thoughtful hi IQ football player that eventually becomes george blanda. Emergency starter at qb & adequate clutch kickee.
Milton could become an absolute legend & Weapon like the kicking game hasnt witnessed since drop kicks won many a game.
It must be a slow day to rant on about a hallucination with about a .005% chance if even being discussed in nfl circles.
Still. Its a different nfl era. Miltons ceiling is as a bigger Lamar Jackson. It might take 5 years for him to ever get on the field at qb w/o embarrassing himself. However, its not 1982.
Its almost 2025. The NFL is as much about antics & entertainment as it is teams actually Jonesing an "all in" effort to win a superbowl. Also, 4th down has become a common metric gamble in modern ball. Its become a big part of how teams win.
Milton could tush push, run wide or heave up a high ball bucket shot that nobody sees and drops straight down from the stratosphere on JJ for a jump ball td.
Anybody with talent, even a dog. Can learn 6-8 trucks, then with practice learn to repeat them with their eyes closed.
Taysom Hill learnt his 6 tricks and gas been the sole reason for around a dozen saints games iver the years.
The team that drafts him is going to have to convince Joe to go 100% out of the box buy in, with the carrot that dangles being an eventual &25-$40m starting qb- dependant on him working at it. Id definitely invite him for a top 30 visit see if hes willing & then draft him in rnd 6- depending on that intervie, maybe higher. Start his career as a TE/ H-back rpo weapon, While also having him try to become a punter.
I like him best in that role. Pat Macafee showed an athlete as your punter works out really well.
What sat ye Kevi? Toss the box off a cliff and create a new nfl position- the run & shoot rugby sprint punter.
Milton only started 14 or 15 games. He improved over the duration. I think scputs are too tough on the guy, but if you liked trey lance despite his rawness- Joe Milton is light years better at everything the most optimistic in the nfl hoped for with lance. Milton too is raw- but he threw it more & stayed healthy.

The nfl coach that unlocks joe to his full potential will win superbowls.
