One of my beautiful Rainbows got into a fight and had a bit of his/her mouth nipped ... and the scale was hanging off. Well the scale is gone and in the place is a white spot that seems to either be new tissue or a fungal growth. The fish is 5 years old and fully grown and I was just wondering how to treat this or should I worry at all? It's been about a week and the fish eats like a pig and schools and shows nothing abnormal. Thank you for help.
