Many factors can play in here-city or hiway driving?Mileage on the vehicle and the state of tune?Bad gas cap that lets the fuel evaporate?Even on these older vehicles, optimum engine efficiency can easily be determined by a QUALIFIED tech who knows what to look for-fuel control by the computer-If all info is good going in and coming out of the computer,optimum mileage will be obtained-do not lug this motor down-it needs to spin to make efficient power to move the vehicle.
