Air Filters is a good place to start, Then do what Dave recomended. You might also do your home-work on that performance work that was done as that may have some relation-ship on that fuel consumtion. Be careful of additives you put in your vehicle some are not compatible and can cause damage, Parts Houses will sell anything that makes them money.
