Great to have your input Chris we need it. A little input on the A/c Compressor-clutch There was a time with the old (York Style) compressors that people complained when you started the Engine and shut it down it used a lot of HP (LOAD) some had the idea this would help with this problem, I don't know if it made much difference but some people though so. If you remember correctly driving down the road and you turned on the A/C there was a great RPM drop along with a engine vibration. Anyway todays vehicles don't uses these heavy loaded type of Compressors and don't load the engine like that.
