I own a 99 F150 4X4 with 4.6/manual trans and 92000 miles. Recently there I noticed a clicking noise from the drive train when I take off in first and second gear (or when the drivetrain is under load). The clutch is disengaged (out) and I am moving. When the clutch is engaged no noise. Rev the engine clutch in or in neutral no noise. I recently had the transfer case oil changed and I am wondering if that is the cause. Any suggestions of how to troubleshoot?
