93Tempo Service engine soon light on

About three months ago car driven to Pueblo and SESL light came on and stayed on until arrived in Pueblo. Car not driven for several days and light did not reappear.
ast week went over Guenella Pass and light came on amd does ot go out. Checked gas cap but it did not correct problem. Any ideas??
