I have a 2006 Suzuki with 15 thousand miles. It is terribly hard to start cold. You have to pump on the gas and hope. It has been that way since 8 thousand. I have had it in the shop 5 times with no better results. It acts like the gas drains back overnight and it loses its prime.
After the first start it is good for the rest of the day
