I bought my daughter a 99 couger and she likes the car alot but when it gets hot it starts jumping in and out of gear like it cant decide what it gear it wants to go in. The engine light came on and the only code it threw was bank 1 of catilyst {sp}. It mever does it when its cold and doesnt do it all the time but its bad when it decides to start. It seem,s like an electrical problem with the transmission to me. but what do you think?
