Wrong. The term 'knowledge' has many connotations. Science is not the only measure of knowledge, but one of the measures of one of the aspects of knowledge. Knowledge is of different types and requires separate medium to determine a special aspect of our knowledge. Science is based on empirical data acquired by senses that can be tested or verified or experimented. But that's not all. There are other sources of knowledge, for example, rational knowledge or mystical knowledge, for which we need a separate medium, and that medium is not scientific laboratory or any instrument. Let's give you an example, do you go to one and only one physician for all types of human complications? For example, do you go to a dentist for your kidney trouble, or cardiologist for your pregnancy complications? No, obviously not. In fact, we need authority, for every aspect of human knowledge there is an authority who is specialised in that area, not in other areas. Likewise, for religious knowledge we must rely on religous authority, for example, Jesus Christ for Christianity, Prophet Muhammad (sm) for Islam, and so on. In the like manner, for scientific knowledge of soil salinity, we need to go to soil scientist, for computer engineering we need to consult a computer engineer, and so on. It is a category mistake to measure religious knowledge or beliefs by science and vice versa. Thanks.
