Might I say that I have been most interested to read some of the messages posted on this site. It is refreshing to see Muslims questioning articles of their faith which some religious authorities might wish to supress as blasphemous. In this difficult post 9-11 atmosphere, with an attack on Iraq seemingly imminent, Western media has demonised many 'normal' Muslim people. While the West is certainly guilty of misunderstanding Islam, Muslims themselves have the most important role to play in clarifying just where their religion stands on many basic issues. Open debate, such as that I found on this site, offers far more possibility of evolving a channel of understanding than the loud voices of fundamentalism we hear so often from the clerics.
