i think the harris resort is right down near the airport. we just came back (21/09) and stayed at Bali Gardens. Loved it. Walking distance to everywhere, next to Discovery Plaza, opposite Waterbom and right on the beach so an easy walk up to Kuta. Resort a little run down but clean and really friendly. we are planning to return next year! our kids are 12 & 7 and we had two interconnecting rooms. it was great.
