Booking holiday through internet

Has anyone booked a family holiday through any internet sites like "hoteltravel.com" or "precitionreservations.com" as they are alot cheaper than normal rates. So was wondering if they are reliable. Don't want to take the family over and find nothing is booked. Thanks.
