Not sure about the padma, we did visit there years ago (the padma i mean) and I just remember it being VERY expensive, for a coke it was 3 times dearer than at the melasti next door...
If you haven't booked yet and you want a great place for kids, stay at the Dynasty,.. we've been to Bali many times and now we ONLY stay there, the kids love it, you can't get them off the waterslides and the staff are great and heaps and heaps of stuff to do, your kids would LOVE it there and so would you!
