If Griya is booked out try the Ouri Santrian - Besakih is just a bit older. No real reason I don't like Sanur. It tends to attract an older group of tourists principally Europeans and is confined by the bypass road that runs just inland from the beach
Why don't you try Ubud in the hills or Amed on the North coast of you are looking for something different. Ubud has quite a bit to do for families and great restaurants. Amed is quiet and has a good snorkelling beach
