I am just back from a wonderful holiday in Bali with my husband and two teenagers . We spent time in Legian and Ubud and go for smaller more intimate places. Stayed at the new Yuli Beach Bungalows in Legian - 2 bedroom villa at a good price. Pool was smallish but only is used by the occupants of the four villas so it isn't too bad
Then in Ubud stayed at Putri Ayu, big rooms, we booked two on the top floor and had the whole area to ourselves. The views are fabulous and the staff really pleasant
The teenagers were a bit bored in Ubud, but really enjoyed the helter skelter of Legian. For we oldies the Yuli Beach was a pleasant relief from the crowds
Didn't do alot of sight seeing but loved the food and the great weather
