Sports Reach is a ministry committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus
Christ through Sports. It is made up of individuals who are committed to
Christ and that want to share Him using sports as a tool.
The walls of our churches can hold us inside our comfort zones and
away from people in need. Sports Reach is going to the people. Through
sports, the Gospel is reaching our community, our state, and our world.
People need Christ and Sports Reach is taking Him to them.
Sports Reach has the opportunity, through God's grace, to go into
prisons, leagues, tournaments with evangelistic hearts and materials. Every
Sports Reach event, shares the message of Jesus Christ to all who will
listen.
In additiom,Sports Reach attempts to identify those sports minded
Christians, whose gifts and abilities are untapped. Our goal is to help
them understand the talents God has given them and mobilize those talents
for work in the kingdom of God, strenthening their own Faith.
Short term we are planning a mission trip to four prisons in southern
California sometime in late February early March. We would really
appreciate your assistence helping us get the word out to athlets who wish
to play competitive softball all the while sharing there faith in Jesus
Christ.
