From a very early age, my parents used to take my sister, brother and I from Tyler Avenue, over to Langdon Hills, walking up to the Crown Woods, before going along Dry Street and up to an area we were told is called for some reason, One Tree Hill. Can anybody enlighten me as to how it got this name and why please? 
I read yesterday, there are yet another set of plans to smother Dry Street in concrete and bricks with 1,200 new homes, but I Most sincerely hope they do NOT mar this very beautiful area of Green Belt.
