Hi will i lived in church road 147 which was just the other side of the bridge... I do know there was a George and beetie smith but they lived down near the town centre, I will ask my brother if he remembers as he is 3 years older than me... there was a family by the surname of stokes and they lived half way up osbourne road and were there from 1956 perhaps this might help... Good luck with the search i am doing the same... try going through friendsreunited on the web it,s great, because you can go into school,s and road,s etc. take care,valerie
