Hi am not sure who will read this but Basildon holds wonderful memories for me. Having moved to Basildon in 1956-57 i feel i grew up with the town. The fun watching everything being built and new people arriving... Lifetime friendship's were made and they were the days when no wall's were needed around your gardens... I took part in everything that was going on and i am sure by the time i left there were more than a few people glad to see me go... However like many origanal people from Basildon who left for one reason or another a major part of my heart is still in my old home town... To all still there i send my best wishes and i hold on strong to my memories of friends of all ages and Basildon in the good old day's bye for now until in my dreams i return...
