Hi, i moved from Basildon years ago. But does anyone remember back in the 60's when the Rolling Stone Bill Wyman opened a fete at the Lee Chapel South Community Centre? I was very young at the time and remembered being pulled out of the crowd to sit on the edge of the stage with Bills young son(aboutthe same age as myself). I could not understand what all the screaming was about.
