Hi, I'm a newby here. Yes I remember the Double six, then I think it changed to the flying childers and then back again to double six.
I also worked in Peacheys during summer hols in 1965 or 66. I can still remember ma peachey at the front by the door with her blue rinse hair.
Do you remember the old barn up church road? and rectory road before they built the tractor plant? Those were the days! Scrumping all day and then getting chased away by the farmers!
Think I need to sit and try to get my memory in order, theres so much to tell.
Do you remember "Georges" club, another highlight from the 60's?
