Does anybody remember back in the early 80's (possibly late 70's) when a gas cylinder blew up on the roof of Woodlands Girls School. My sister and i shot out of bed and stood on the foot bridge over Nethermayne watching the flames!
My sister thought it was great, cos it meant a few days off school! It actually frightened the life out of me.
