Hi Ashley,Dont know if this helps at all, but back in about 1954 I used to deliver to a factory in Wraysbury Drive I think they did work with Engineering of some sort also there was a Taxi firm based there called Sid Farmer,s Taxis, He opperated from the site also from Laindon Station, at the time the road was unmade but had a hardcore base so you did not get stuck in the mud in winter.Hope this sheds some light on you question.
