I loved One Tree Hill as a child back in the 60's. We would ride our bikes from Great Spenders where I lived all through the little lanes that are now Basildon Town Centre. There was so much to see and do, and getting lost in all the thickets down the East side of the hill was exciting. I hope it is still there and thriving, I have lived in Canada now for 35 years and it is one of the places I really miss.
