Well remembered Brian! My wife's late father Reg Smith was the secretary of this club for a time (and he was involved with a few others including Rotary Hoes I believe) I remember Harry Lloyd well, a very keen groundsman and football fan!
Do you remember standing by the touchline on a wet day when the players came thundering towards you with the massive boots and the wet football? Not a place to be caught standing!
And, if they were a linesman short, they would grab someone from the spectators to do the honours! Lookout when the poor soul who got chosen made an error!
