Does anybody know of or have a relative who worked as a postman in Basildon/Laindon during the 60's. During this period I worked as a Postman/Driver working out of the P.D.O (Postal Delivery Office) in Luncies Road and also out of Laindon Sorting Office opposite the old Laindon Hotel. I spent a number of very happy years as a postman and made lots of friends. I would be very pleased to get in touch with anyone who worked with me during that time or who may know someone (a relative, friend etc) who may remember those happy days.
