I have only just found this site and was shocked to see that fred rand had passed away I have always wondered where he moved to when he left Basildon we just drifted apart . Fred was my driver on london transport we had some really good fun I will always remember and I do still talk about it Fred bought a hearse fron tilbury and we used to go to work in this vehicle until the manager stopped us parking in the bus garage. Happy Days
