I knew Ernie and his family, parents both passed on like young Ernie. It was with Tremendous thanks to them that I got to like Stock car Racing, having gone with them several times to West Ham when there was a stadium there and not a mass of houses as now.
I have a photo of a group taken at Maldon and 100% certain one of his sisters is in it. If Anne Byron reads this, then please E-mail me, using your Mum's name as subject please?
