Does anyone have any knowledge of Woodfield Road, Pitsea (now demolished) c 1915 please? My mother was fostered by a family living there - possibly the Brittons - who lived at Broadwater Cottage in 1915. This family appear on the 1911 census but at an address of 'Station Estate', Pitsea. Was this a different place altogether? Any knowledge of Woodfield Rd., Station Estate or the Britton family would be very useful.
