I saw a snake yesterday crossing the yard. It was
dark red that faded to a pale sand color at the tail. There was no pattern,it was about 15" long.
It's head was round and the same width as the body.
It was moving very fast. I was glad I was up on the deck and it was down in the grass moving away.
I looked it up on the net and think it might have been a ground snake. Non poisonous but I'm still
going to stay alert watering the plants.
