I totally agree with everything you say, but still don't trust the government having the power to do so. If two years from now they decided that nurses should only make 30k a year and electricians only 25k and dentists only 50k and so on would you be in an uproar? I would hope so. Again I agree with you on all of your points but I hope we can find a better way to get it done. Once we go down the path of government having absolute power we can't go back. Wasn't our country supposedly founded in rebelion to such a government? And doesn't it sound alot like a socialist or communist government? I hope something is done about the rampid theft. I agree it is disgusting and I hope they get what they deserve, however I am unwilling to give up my liberties and refuse to give up my right to the pursuit of happiness. I do not want to argue about this. My desire is that WE THE PEOPLE can put our heads together and come up with a BETTER plan than the ones being presented to us. Please take atleast a second to think about it. Oppression wont happen over nite but the path could be being laid. Is that not worth atleast a pause?
